( I have two major scenes, the school boys attacking the girls and the Paladin untying the Doctor, then being confronted by Necar or whoever. LOL I have Necar right now telling the Doctor and the Paladin that the boys have to stay there for a week as part of a ritual to join the military. I can work with that, if it's a lie. Okay. There's a subversive cult or group trying to take over the planet, based on an ancient superstition surrounding the machinery in the caves. Maybe a long time ago, someone tried to create a method of travel using wormholes and tapped into something darker, an alien intelligence of great, but malevolent power! Hm. The machinery is thousands of years old, created by a genius who was way ahead of his time. The planet has a history of strong religious belief, but not usually in a Puritan or )
